Back on Track for the First Time!

Ok, I have finally taken the step into full time photography. For those of you that follow the blog regularly, you will have noticed that it was not very regular at all, but I hope for that all to change now. I've had a lot of things going in the last few months and it's all been for the best! We have taken the necessary steps to free my time up and enable me to follow my true passion for photography and support my family while doing so. This will be a great next few months and I'm exited about the support we've recieved from friends and family so far and I really look forward to getting the opprotunity to work with some amazing people! So without further adue...

Beauty is Her Name...
This shoot was with a very dear friend of mine who has fallen head over heals with the man of her dreams (who happens to also be a very dear friend). Marsha wasn't planning on having bridal portraits done but as we spoke about pictures and how important it was for her to have beautiful memories of this time in her life, so of course I insisted that she let me shoot her bridal portraits as a gift to her and her hubby to be. We couldn't have chosen a more beautiful day or location to shoot these portraits and it was a pleasure to have the opportunity!

Marsh's dress was amazing. The full long trailed dress was complimented by the long cathedral veil.

Marsha was a little unsure of the look she wanted for her portraits, but after surprising her with the location, the camera quickly fell in love with her.

Yes, she is laying in her dress in leaves and dirt just weeks before her big day. *rest assured we took the proper precautions*lol

Lighting was superb for the shoot and I was very happy with the final images we were able to create for Marsha.

Daniel and Marsha was married this past weekend and we were able to provide some of the images from her bridal session as decorative pieces for the elegant reception that followed. The joining of these two was a match truly made in heaven, congrats to the both of you and we can't wait to get the wedding images done.

Shooting the Breeze...

Here are some of the shots from the shoot in the garden where I shot the flower in the last post. This couple was so much fun to work with and I can't wait to shoot thier wedding this saturday. The setting for this shoot was great and the lighting where perfect. Let me know what you think.

Recent Shoot

So, I finally got out and did an official "paid" shoot. I had some work lined up but I have been have been messing around with some new techniques and lighting. I was out shooting and took a second away from the couple I was shooting portraits of and shot this beautiful flower. I didn't really set up lighting for this but I kind of like what is here.
